2022   ​

  • In November 2022, Tackfully Teamed was apart of the Smith Mountain Charity home tour. Tackfully Teamed received $20,090.99 from this wonderful fundraising event.

  • In October 2022 we hosted the Settle home during the annual Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home tour. Above are our wonderful sponsors.

  •  In January 2022, Tackfully Teamed received a quality of life grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation for $25,000.00.   This grant is providing funding for an assistant, a horse, needed tack, and a portable wheelchair ramp

  2021

  • In December 2021, Tackfully Teamed received a grant from the William Whidbee Sale & Virginia B. Sale Foundation for $2,500.00 for rider scholarships for families qualifying for financial assistance

  • The Commonwealth Community Trust thru Disabilities Rights and Resource Center gave six $1,000 grants for riding scholarships.

  • Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia Women in Philanthropy 10,000

  • In October the Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour gave $12,992

  • In January the Network for Good gave $370.00

   

2020

  • In December 2020, Tackfully Teamed received a grant from the William Whidbee Sale & Virginia B. Sale Foundation for $2,500.00 for rider scholarships for families qualifying for financial assistance.

  • In November the Riding with the Stars fundraiser brought in $8,500

  • The Commonwealth Community Trust gave six $1,000 grants for riding scholarships.

  • In October the Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour brought in $2,360

  • The Lily Patterson Memorial Fund  gave $750

 2019

  • In December 2019, Tackfully Teamed received a grant from the William Whidbee Sale & Virginia B. Sale Foundation for $2,500.00 for rider scholarships for families qualifying for financial assistance.

  • On November 15th, 2019 the Communities Serving Western Virginia, formerly known as Martinsville Area Community Foundation awarded Tackfully Teamed $5,000.00. This grant is for the progression of our collaboration with Hope Ministries Drug Rehabilitation center.

  • The Commonwealth Community Trust gave two $1,000 grants for riding scholarships.

  • In June of 2019, Bassett Memorial United Methodist Church donated $3,000.00 to be used as needed.

  • In May of 2019, Joe Meadors donated $2,500.00 for Tackfully Teamed to use as needed.

2018

  • In December 2018, Tackfully Teamed received a grant from the William Whidbee Sale & Virginia B. Sale Foundation for $2,500.00 for rider scholarships for families qualifying for financial assistance.

  • On March 2, 2018, Tackfully Teamed received a PUP! (Pick Up the Pace) grant from the Harvest Foundation. This is for the Roof for a Hoof project which is for a covered riding arena which will allow Tackfully Teamed to accommodate more clients that would previously be unserved due to inclement weather or extreme heat.

2017

  • On December 5, 2017, Tackfully Teamed received a grant from the William Whidbee Sale & Virginia B. Sale Foundation for $2,500.00 for rider scholarships for families qualifying for financial assistance.

  • In October 2017, Tackfully Teamed received a grant from Women in Philanthropy for $10,000. This is for the Roof for a Hoof Project to build a partially covered arena. This will provide consistency in therapeutic riding lessons in various weather conditions.

  • On August 3rd, 2017, Tackfully Teamed received an anonymous donation for $7,000.00 to be used as needed.

  • June 6th, 2017, Tackfully Teamed received an anonymous grant from Martinsville Area Community Foundation for $10,000.00 to be used as needed.

  • On May 19th, 2017, Tackfully Teamed received a grant from W. Howard and Lena Meador Trust for $5000.00 to be used as needed. 

  • On May 8, 2017, Tackfully Teamed received a grant from the Martinsville Area Community Foundation for $4,000.00. The Martinsville Area Endowment Fund approved the grant to be used for Confidence, Control, and Clarification. This funding will ensure our ability to implement the best camp and summer activities.

  • Also in May 2017, the center also received $1,000.00 from an individual donor.
